In short: we keep what you send us so we can answer it and do the work you ask for. We don't sell it, rent it or trade it.
Who runs this site

What we collect
- What you type into the request form: name, email, phone if you give it, the county or parish, the operator or well, your acreage and your notes. Please don't put a Social Security number, tax ID or bank details in the form or in an email. We'll ask for documents after we reply.
- Server logs: the hosting service records IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time, for security and to keep the site running.
The value worksheet runs in your browser. The numbers you put in it are not sent to us unless you type them into the request form. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To answer your request and, if you hire us, to do that work.
- To keep a record of what was asked and answered.
- To keep spam and abuse off the site.
Who else sees it
Requests are stored with Google Cloud (Firebase and Firestore) in the United States, which also hosts the site. The people who run this site read requests there and answer them. We don't sell personal information and don't share it with data brokers, ad networks or lead buyers. Beyond the people who run this site and the services they use to store and answer requests, we would disclose it only if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to answer you and do any work that follows from it. If you'd like a request removed, ask us (see below).
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@naturalgas.land with "Privacy request" in the subject and say which request it was.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
